As Duxbury's largest private employer, Bay Farm is a community of professionals bonded together to further the interests of children and their families. Established in 1972, Bay Farm is an independent, Montessori school serving children ages twelve months to fourteen years. Located just off Route 3 exit 10, the serene, nine-acre campus serves approximately two hundred children. Toddler Assistant Teachers

The Toddler House assistant teachers work alongside a Montessori-trained lead teacher and sometimes with another assistant teacher.  Candidates should have experience working with children (ideally ages 12 months to 2.9 years) and be EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) certified or willing to work towards becoming EEC certified.  Montessori experience is preferred; Montessori compatible essential.  These are part-time, benefits-eligible, salaried positions.

Substitute Teachers

Bay Farm is seeking people who would like to serve as substitute teachers on an irregular basis. Skills in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, and staff are necessary. Montessori-trained teachers or those interested in being trained as Montessori teachers are encouraged to apply. Montessori experience is not required, but experience working with children is preferred.
