Toddler Lead Teacher
The Toddler House lead teacher is responsible for providing a Montessori classroom / instructional program that supports the individual needs of the children (ages 12 months to 2.9 years) in accordance with the School’s mission and vision. Toddler teaching experience is required, and candidates should be Montessori-trained and EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) certified or willing to work towards becoming EEC certified. This is a benefits-eligible, salaried positon.
Toddler Assistant Teachers
The Toddler House assistant teachers work alongside a Montessori-trained lead teacher and sometimes with another assistant teacher. Candidates should have experience working with children (ideally ages 12 months to 2.9 years) and be EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) certified or willing to work towards becoming EEC certified. Montessori experience is preferred; Montessori compatible essential. These are part-time, benefits-eligible, salaried positions.
Bay Farm is seeking people who would like to serve as substitute teachers on an irregular basis. Skills in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, and staff are necessary. Montessori-trained teachers or those interested in being trained as Montessori teachers are encouraged to apply. Montessori experience is not required, but experience working with children is preferred.
