Children team up to solve engineering problems by building and programming robotic models using LEGO kits. Each week, the teams are challenged to create robotic models (e.g., helicopters with moving rotors, animals that walk, and cars that drive through a maze). Check out the video here.
The focus of this class will be on having fun, acting, movement and singing together as a group. This acting class is for children who would like exposure to being on the stage.
The spring musical is one of many enrichment programs at Bay Farm that helps students learn and discover beyond the classroom, through music, drama, dance, and other programs that truly enrich each child’s development. Plays that have been done in recent years include Cinderella, Willy Wonka, and Seussical.
This class introduces basic ballet movement, barre work, and simple floor work steps.
If you have an interest in cooking or baking this is the class for you. You will participate in creating and taking home a variety of delicious food. We’ll be taking a look at recipes from America as well as ones enjoyed throughout the world. At the end of the term we will put together a cookbook with the recipes used.
