Monday, January 9th at 6:30pm in the Great Room
Please join us for an evening of conversation about the skills and knowledge that young people need in the world and workplaces of the 21st century, and how the Bay Farm Montessori curriculum seeks to develop these in our students. Hauke Kite-Powell and Liz Titus will lead the discussion. Refreshments will be served. Childcare is available for children 2.5 years and older. Please RSVP to Kyra at email@example.com if you would like to reserve a spot for childcare.
Parents of toddlers moving to the Children's House and Children's House students moving into Kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year are invited to Moving-Up Night next Wednesday. Parents will learn about the next level's curriculum, logistics, teachers, and instruction.
Moving-Up Night will be held in the Kingfisher and Osprey Rooms in the Children's House. The schedule is as follows:
6:30 - 7:15 pm Toddlers to Children's House
7:30 - 8:15 pm Children's House to Kindergarten
Many of Bay Farm's Winter Enrichment classes begin next week. There is still space in some classes, but on a limited basis. We want to remind families that the first semester of pizza lunch continues through the end of January. The next session of pizza lunch begins in early February, so if you would like to continue pizza lunch for your child, you will need to sign up again. We will notify you when new sign-up forms are available.
Bay Farm will host an Admissions Open House on Thursday, January 19th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Families of toddlers through middle school students are invited to attend and learn about Bay Farm's Montessori curriculum, tour the campus, and meet staff and faculty members. Please spread the word by inviting your friends and neighbors to our Open House. If you would like a friend to receive a personal invitation, please email their address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event of an emergency or severe weather preventing Bay Farm from opening or requiring an early dismissal, you will receive an email notifying you. In addition, there are four ways to get information regarding Bay Farm Montessori Academy’s opening or closing plans.

When power lines are down, it can be difficult for the school to get the word out and for families to access the information.

We would like to kindly ask Children’s House families to not arrive early to school. Elementary and middle school families begin their drop off at 8:15am as those students must be in their classrooms by 8:30am. While we appreciate your promptness and eagerness to arrive to school on time, the driveway becomes backed-up and delays our elementary and middle school students from arriving on time. Children’s House arrivals do not begin until 8:30am. Thank you for your consideration.
