The Kindergarten Year

A Turning Point

In our mixed-age classrooms, Kindergartners step into leadership roles, building confidence, independence, and a deeper sense of responsibility. With individualized, hands-on learning, they move at their own pace, both supported and challenged.

Two Rooms, One Year

In Children's House
Half the day is spent in their mixed-age classroom, where as the oldest students they lead and mentor younger classmates. It cultivates leadership, empathy, and collaboration long before it's asked of them anywhere else.
In the Kindergarten Class
The other half is spent with their Kindergarten peers in a dedicated class, with more time for long-term projects and extended units of study in science, geography, and history.

Moving On to Elementary I

Kindergartners leave ready for Elementary, and often ahead of it. In Elementary I, they take on more freedom and responsibility, work independently and in small groups, and receive lessons tailored to their individual learning style.
