Bay Farm Montessori Academy recently received the results from this year’s MAP Growth assessments, and our students’ performance is something to celebrate! The MAP Growth tests from NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association) are highly respected national assessments that measure student achievement and growth in key subjects like math, reading, language usage, and science for grades K-12.

For grades 1-8 at Bay Farm, our math scores were an impressive 71st percentile compared to national norms. That means our students scored better than 71% of other students across the country in math. Even more impressive, our students’ growth and improvement in math over the past year exceeded 79% of students nationwide.

In reading, our overall score landed in the 83rd percentile nationally. Our students grew and progressed more than 81% of their peers nationwide over the past year.

For overall English/Language Arts, we scored in the 85th percentile, with growth in the 73rd percentile compared to national norms.

These results confirm what we already know – that Bay Farm provides an exceptional educational experience that allows our students to thrive academically. Our unique Montessori approach, dedicated faculty, and personalized learning paths are clearly paying dividends. We are proud of all our students for their hard work and achievements. A huge thank you also goes out to our devoted teachers and staff, who challenge and support our students daily.
